Brett Gleason - Director of Church Planting
Brett serves as Director of Church Planting for the Great Lakes District, EFCA. Brett is the husband of Stephanie and the proud dad of two boys. He earned his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Iowa and worked for the National Futures Association for six years. Brett earned his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has served with the GLD since fall 2003.
Brett gives directional leadership to the church planting efforts of the GLD. He is committed to the multiplication of healthy churches and supporting church planters.

Marty Schoenleber - Church Planting Missionary
Marty joined the staff of the Great Lakes District in September 2008 after pastoring New Song Church for 17 years. Marty started New Song Church in 1991. The church has started six daughter churches and Marty has personally trainined numerous church planters. Marty has a B.A. in Ancient History from the University of Maryland and a Masters of Divinity in Exposition and Teaching from the International School of Theology. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Marty is focusing on raising personal support to start a new church closer to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School to reach the community with the gospel, expose students to church planting, and equip future church planters.
