Chuck came to Christ following his graduation from high school. He was brought up in a Christian home and attended church on a regular basis. Following graduation from the Grand Rapids School of the Bible & Music, he married Gerri and continued his education at Grand Rapids Junior College, graduating from Western Michigan University in 1965 with a B.M. degree. He served as a faculty member at the Grand Rapids Bible School from 1967-71, completing his graduate degree from Western Michigan University in 1971.

Chuck is married to the former Gerri Hinkle of Portage Indiana. Their five children are Mrs. William Kerr (Deborah) Grand Rapids, MI, James Warren of Spring Lake, MI, Brad Warren of Carlsbad, CA, Todd Warren of Chicago, IL, and Jeff Warren of Maple Grove, MN. The Warrens are blessed with 9 grandchildren.

Ordained in the Evangelical Free Church in 1976, Chuck has served churches in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Waterford, Gaylord, and Ludington, MI, as well as a church plant in North Carolina. Chuck felt called to the pastoral ministry in 1971 and responded to the call to serve the Great Lakes District as an associate Superintendent in 1993. He currently serves as the Heartland Regional Superintendent which includes churches in Western Ohio, Indiana, the Southern 2/3 of Illinois, one church in Kentucky and Michigan.

Chuck enjoys ministering to Pastors and Church leadership teams and is available to serve in many areas including:

• Church Health Issues – Natural Church Development consultation, Growing a Healthy Church, Everyday Commission/Commandment.
• Church Mission/Vision/Values clarification as well as structure analysis.
• Church Leadership retreats.

Chuck and Gerri reside in Chesterton, Indiana and attend Liberty Bible Church, an Evangelical Free Church.
